Ohno: From our debut days, to now it’s been the same. Even though those around us would say “They’re good friends,” I didn’t get it…So, that’s probably how the rest felt [laughs]
Jun: Definitely, since Riidaa is the oldest and has a carefree attitude, that became the sort of attitude for Arashi. If someone like me were the leader, we probably would not have been as good friends.
Ohno: You always say that [laughs]
Jun: With our ages being so close, there is not much of a difference going up and down. The oldest is the most reliable and the youngest is different… Sorry, Riidaa for always saying nice things about you.
Ohno: I know… [laughs]
Jun: Riidaa is very lassez-faire.
Ohno: That’s because I don’t like to press hard.
Jun: But with performing Riidaa is very consistent compared to me who is more stoic. If someone who is overly serious and presses hard were the leader, I don’t think the group would have continued for as long as we have. [laughs]
